A fabulous 10-day tour to Austria and Germany - accompanied by Aeroplane magazine's Assistant Editor - to some of the most beautiful areas of Europe. The forests and mountains of Austria and Bavaria, the Rhine Valley, and the splendour of Berlin. Our itinerary is a perfect blend of sightseeing and aviation, for aviation enthusiasts and long-suffering partners alike, ending in Germany's capital city at the very popular ILA Aerospace Exhibition and Air Show.

- Deutsches Museum von Meisterwerken der Naturwissenschaft und Technik, Munich
- Deutsches Museum Flugwerft Schleissheim in Oberschleissheim
- Technik Museum in Speyer
- Auto und Technik Museum in Sinsheim
- Heidelberg
- Scenic day's drive alongside the River Rhine stopping in Bingen, Rüdesheim, Assmannshausen and St Goar en route to the ancient town of Koblenz, where the rivers Rhine and Mosel merge
- Tempelhof Airport with its unique art deco terminal
- Deutsches Technikmuseum Berlin
- ILA 2008 Inter national Aerospace Exhibition and Air Show. With examples of the Me262 and Bf109 now flying in Germany, we hope to see a repeat of their memorable flying display given at ILA 2006
- Free time in Berlin
- Luftwaffenmuseum, located at the ex-Luftwaffe and RAF airfield at Gatow.
