AT Bruntingthorpe Airfield, the only North American Harvard II on the British register, RCAF 3019/G-CPPM, now sits on its undercarriage for the first time in 62 years. Owned by Steve Wilch, the trainer was delivered to the Royal Canadian Air Force in April 1941, being disposed of in 1948. Imported from Canada in late 2005, it is being rebuilt by Beech Restorations and should fly in the next two years.
