New 44 Squadron Book

At the Newark Air Museum Vulcan talk on May 22nd, Group Captain John Laycock brought along a new book that is just being launched.
Entitled “The King’s Thunderbolts” the book provides “An Operational Record and Roll of Honour 1917 -1982” for “No 44 (Rhodesia) Squadron Royal Air Force”.
The book had been compiled by Alan White BSc, MINucE, with additional material by Air Cdre Simon Baldwin MBE and Gp Capt John Laycock BA.

The book is being sold to raise funds for the 44 Squadron Association and copies are now available from the Newark Air Museum Shop at a special introductory price of £21.00.
